Walmart says it will remodel three Shelby County stores this year as part of a $31 million investment in Tennessee.
The Arkansas-based retailer said it will renovate stores at 7525 Winchester in Memphis, 577 North Germantown Parkway in Cordova and 8445 U.S. 51 North in Millington.
It will also add Walmart Pickup Towers at the Cordova store. Walmart says the towers function like high-tech vending machines where customers can pick up online orders in less than a minute by scanning a barcode sent to their smartphone.
